conscious photography

what if we let presence be the driver of our photography

Be fore we press the shutter we are looking for presence and resonance.

Photography is the medium of expression, in which we actually have to be there in order to practice it.

The inner attitude with which we photograph is more important than what we photograph (subjects, genre) and how we photograph (technique or style).

I want people to experience how the simple yet difficult act of being present transforms their lives.

Taking pictures is still essential, but it is not the centre of conscious photography. The camera becomes a teacher, while we study presence.
